Rowing for a cure!

Ann Atkins breaks world indoor rowing record.

On Tuesday 25th February, in the reception of Langley secondary school, mother and
police office Ann Atkins from Shirley, Solihull attempted to break a world record for
the fastest time rowing a 42k marathon in under 3hrs 33mins which will rank her 1st
in the world for her age and distance. This is part of the Brain Tumour uk’s "ROW FOR
IT" nationwide fundraising event, a charity close to her heart as Ann’s daughter Iona,
aged 12 and in year 7 at Langley has had a brain tumour for the last 7 years and is still
